Vision Inspection Services

Vision Inspection Systems Engineered to Detect, Prevent, and Perform

Vision inspection isn’t just about making sure every part of your product is there – it’s also about making sure it’s there in the right way. Vision inspection systems enable precise, repeatable inspection to ensure consistency, compliance, and confidence in every product.

Vision inspection gives your machine eyes, letting you see how different parts are operating and ensuring you’re getting the results you want and expect.

It’s primarily used when a sensor can’t be employed – due to size constraints – or where using one could create potentially dangerous environments, and it can check for quality and part presence by providing robot guidance.

Benefits of Vision Inspection

Vision inspection is a must-have service for anyone looking for quality control. Help your customers, and your bottom line, by verifying product performance during the most crucial points in your process
Increased product quality: error-proof processes that identify
and eliminate waste
Supply chain control: prevent non-compliant inventory
from entering production
Reduced factory floor footprints: do more with your space
Increased efficiency and reduced manual labor: create more
products with fewer people
Increased customer service: faster response to warranty claims and
recalls and better quality products for overall customer satisfaction
Regulatory compliance: through and accurate data simplifies
compliance reporting and reduces the impact of recalls with
prevention or early detection

Example

A Samuel Automation customer asked us to make cards, similar to circuit dashboards, for medical use. Each card had numerous pathways that would inject different solutions to travel through the card and interact with each other, ultimately providing a diagnosis.

The Samuel Automation team was responsible for finding a way to seal each path and then verify that none of the paths were blocked, and all of the seals were correct, in this microscopic device. The answer was Vision Inspection.

We tried several softwares, but none were up to the challenge due to the product’s minute size. To fill the void, we turned to MAVIX, an advanced vision technology that has been integrated into hundreds of assembly and test systems. It is highly configurable and can be adapted by our programmers to maintain production rates, while also delivering quality inspection results.

The customer was thrilled with the end project and has continued to scale it.
